Harry Kane was the star performer on the night as Bayer Munich beat Frank Onyeka’s Augusburg 3-0 at the Allianz Arena on Friday night.
Onyeka featured for 90 minutes and was quite decent but home side dominated play and controlled the match.
Harry Kane scored a hattrick on the night on his return from the last international break of the year.
Kane scored two penalties – one in each half and a goal from open play in added time of the 90 to complete his brilliant display on the night.
The Three Lions striker has now converted 26 consecutive penalties for both club and country.
Kane last missed a penalty in 2022 as he failed to convert in England’s 2-1 loss to France in the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup.
Harry Kane has now scored 22 goals and recorded 9 assists in 22 games for club and country this season.
He’s the leading scorer in the German Bundesliga with 14 goals and 6 assists in 11 matches.
