Ola Aina is hopeful that Nottingham Forest will make the Champions League spot when the season ends.

The Super Eagles defender made an appearance on “The Inside Scoop” podcast recently and shared his thoughts on being the best right back in the Premier League and Nottingham Forest’s ambition.

When asked if Nottingham Forest will qualify for the Champions League, Ola Aina responded by saying “Inshallah, as it is Ramadan”

The Tricky Trees have enjoyed a stellar season so far as they occupy the third spot on the log with 51 points from 28 matches.

Ola Aina says he’s doing the “Lord’s work” in response to whether he’s the best right back in the Premier League this season.

On the flipside, while reflecting on his performance in the 2023 AFCON final against Cote D’Ivoire, Ola Aina admitted that he got “cooked” against Simon Adingra.

The Brighton winger bagged a brace in the final as host Cote D’Ivoire came from a goal down to defeat Nigeria 2-1.

Ola Aina added that his mum sent him a voice note after the final as she questioned why he allowed “that small boy” to go past him.
