Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru has faced criticism from the fans of his club after pictures of him and Victor Osimhen surfaced online following Galatasaray’s 3-2 win over Genclerbirligi in a Turkish Super League fixture.
Henry Onyekuru only featured for 14 minutes in the agonising loss for the visitors, while Osimhen supported from the stands while recovering from injury.
Despite taking the lead twice in the fixture, Genclerbirligi lost to the reigning champions at Rams Park on Saturday night.

However, Onyekuru was heavily criticised online for casually chatting with Osimhen after the keenly contested affair.
According to reports, the player’s attitude after the narrow loss didn’t sit well with the fans, as they consider it inappropriate.
The criticisms stem from Onyekuru’s lack of impact at the club since he joined. The former Galatasaray forward is yet to score or register an assist in eight matches so far.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen, currently sidelined with injury has nine goals in 12 matches for the defending champions this season.
Osimhen is expected to return to action next month but might be in danger of missing Nigeria’s opening match at the Africa Cup of Nations, which starts on December 21.
