Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed how he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez.
Roanldo, in a brand new interview with popular British journalist, Piers Morgan, revealed that he proposed to her on a date at midnight.
The 40-year-old Al Nassr said he wanted to propose to her in the most natural way possible, and he was convinced of the right time when his daughters, Alana and Eva, asked him.
He revealed that his daughters were sleeping before the time he was about to propose, but woke up, walked to him, and asked: “Dad, are you going to propose to Mum tonight?
Ronaldo said he knew it was the right time, and he responded, “Yes”.
Before the proposal, Ronaldo told Piers Morgan that Georgina Rodriguez had asked him for a particular diamond ring.
When asked why he chose Georgina as his wife, Ronaldo said that he takes care of himself, his kids, and manages the family well. He went on to reveal that he would never take a deal to do what she does for the family.
Ronaldo said he and Georgina plan to have their wedding ceremony after the 2026 World Cup, “with the trophy,” but have not picked a venue and date yet.
