Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has hailed teammates Oluwatosin Demehin and Deborah Abiodun for their pivotal roles in Nigeria’s 3-2 victory over hosts Morocco in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final.

Goals from Esther Okoronkwo, Folashade Ijamilusi, and Jennifer Echegini sealed the comeback win after Nigeria trailed 2-0.

Oshoala, who came off the bench in the second half, took to her Instagram story to express her admiration for Demehin and Abiodun, emphasizing their importance to her “Mission X” journey.

“Love them scatter. Can’t tell my Mission X story without these two [Oluwatosin Demehin and Deborah Abiodun],” she posted alongside a photo of the duo.
The victory further cements Nigeria’s dominance in African women’s football.
