Igoh Ogbu cheered his teammates from the bench on the night as Slavia Prague’s run in the Europa League came to an end.
Slavia Prague and Malmo treated their fans and neutrals tonquite an entertaining match as both sides bow out of the Europa League.
The home side and the visitors scored two goals a piece on the night to end their European campaign this season.
Erik Botheim squandered the chance to give Malmo the lead from a penalty kick after 18 minutes.
Slavia Prague’s Daniel Fila unleashed a sublime shot towards goal moments later but Ricardo Friedrich denied the forward.
Tomas Chory showed brilliant composre in the box before unleashing a low drive into goal to put Slavia Prague ahead.
Malmo didn’t respond immediately but waited until the 70th. Taha Ali unleased a brilliant shot from range to restore parity.
Hugo Bolin put Malmo ahead 60 seconds later from a rebound in the box which sailed into the right post.
Unfortunately, the visitors’ lead only lasted for six minutes as Ivan Schranz got to the end of El Hadji Malick’s cross to bring Slavia Prague back into the game.
Ricardo Friedrich made a comfortable save to deny El Hadji Malick attempt to grab a late winner.
