Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi played 63 minutes as Fulham extended their unbeaten run to eight matches with a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Ipswich Town at Craven Cottage.
Despite dominating possession and creating several scoring opportunities, Fulham fell behind just before halftime when Sammie Szmodics scored via a deflection off Nigeria international Calvin Bassey.
The goal was a blow to Fulham’s momentum, but they managed to equalize in the 65th minute when Raúl Jiménez confidently converted a penalty after Harry Wilson was wiped out by Sam Morsy.
However, Ipswich regained the lead just 21 seconds later when Liam Delap scored from the spot after being fouled by Timothy Castagne.
Fulham’s resilience was on full display as they staged a second comeback when Jiménez scored his second penalty of the game in the 88th minute, after being tripped by Leif Davis.
The draw extended Fulham’s unbeaten H2H run to nine matches and left Ipswich rooted in the relegation zone, still searching for their first back-to-back Premier League wins since 2002.
