Nigeria Premier Football Leage side Kano Pillars have announced the return of Muhammad Babaganaru as the new acting head technical adviser of the club.
Kano Pillars, in a statement via its official X page on Tuesday, October 21st, announced the appointment of Babaganaru, who is expected to resume immediately.
“The management of Kano Pillars FC wishes to announce the appointment of Muhammad Babaganaru as the acting technical adviser of the club. He will resume with immediate effect. We wish Coach Babaganaru success in his new role as he leads the Sai Masu Gida in upcoming fixtures.”

The development comes after the club suspended head coach Evans Ogenyi and his first assistant, Ahmed Garba Yaro, following a poor start to the 2025/26 season, which has seen Masu Gida manage two wins, two draws, and four losses.
Muhammad Babaganuru returns to Kano Pillars as a premium choice, having led the club to back-to-back league titles in 2012 and 2013.
Babaganuru has been previously engaged with Gombe United, Akwa United, and Lobi Stars in the last 20 months before taking up the new role at Kano Pillars.
With the appointment of Babaganaru as acting technical adviser, a reshuffle is expected in the coming days, as the club had earlier announced the appointment of assistant coach Gambo Muhammad and goalkeeping coach Suleiman Shuaibu as the interim technical crew.
Muhammad Babaganaru will be on the sidelines when Kano Pillars take on Niger Tornadoes this weekend.
