Ademola Lookman found the back of the net for Atletico Madrid as the Rojiblancos secured a win over Osasuna in Pamplona.
The Super Eagles striker gave Atleti the lead in the fifteenth minute from the penalty spot after an opposition player moved his arm towards the ball.
Lookman buried the ball into the bottom left corner of goal to raise his tally in the league to three goals in ten matches.
Alexander Sorloth doubled Atletico Madrid’s lead in the 71st minute with a close-range header from Marcus Llorente’s cross into the box.
Kike Barja pounced on a rebound in the box late in the tie to give the hosts a consolation goal.
The match ended 2-1 in favour of Atleti as they move towards finishing in the top four with three matches left.
Lookman has now scored eight goals in all competitions since he arrived Atletico Madrid in February.
