Manchester United have spelt out the conditions attached to taking Rasmus Højlund on loan ahead of the new season.
The Red Devils are looking for solutions for the 22-year-old Danish striker following the arrival of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
Sesko joins Manchester United on a five-year deal and is set to be unveiled at Old Trafford on Saturday before kickoff against Fiorentina.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are reportedly leading the race to sign Rasmus Højlund on loan.
Manchester United reportedly wants potential suitors to pay €6 million loan fee and cover Højlund’s full salary.
However, Højlund has openly said he wants to remain at Manchester United and fight for a place in Ruben Amorim’s team.
The arrival of Benjamin Sesko will likely see Højlund relegated to the bench as Amorim banks on Sesko to lead in attack.
Compared to Sesko’s 21 goals in 43 matches last season, Højlund only managed 10 in 52.
