Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice in Sevilla’s Copa Del Rey win over Las Rozas on Wednesday night, and he’s hungry for more.
After a slow start since joining the La Liga side, Iheanacho is determined to find his rhythm and become a regular goal-scorer.
“Hopefully, there are more goals to come, and hopefully, Sevilla will be in the top six of La Liga by the end of the season,” he told the club’s official website.
Next up, Sevilla hosts Real Sociedad in a LaLiga clash on Sunday. Iheanacho can’t wait to play in front of the home fans again.
“I will be really happy to play in our stadium again,” he said.
“We have amazing fans, and they always support the team no matter what. Hopefully, I get a chance to play there, and hopefully, they will come out, support the team, and we win the game.”
With his confidence boosted by his brace, Iheanacho will be looking to make a bigger impact in LaLiga.
Can he continue his scoring form and help Sevilla climb the table? Time will tell.
