Moses Simon features as Nantes leave Paris with a point

Moses Simon played a significant number of minutes in Nantes ome-all draw against defending champions PSG Saturday night.

The 29-year-old forward had am average performance for the Canaries for over 80 minutes before he was taken off.

The ecounter was quite a one-sided affair as the visitors sat deep for most parts of the match while PSG dominated proceedings.

Achraf Hakimi gave the champions a very early lead as he put the ball into the back of the net from a well-timed pass from Goncalo Ramos.

PSG had 8 shots on target in the first half but couldn’t double their lead against a stubborn Nantes defense.

Vitinha, Kang-In Lee and Hakimi had shots on target to get at least a goal but the Patrik Carlgren denied them in between the sticks.

Unfortunately, French forward Matthis Albine got Nantes an equalizer against the runnof play on the 38th minute.

The 21-year-old completed a brilliant individual effort with a fine strike into the bottom corner  which made Donnarumma a bystander in between the sticks.

Moses Simon and his crew willingly conceded possession PSG in the second half as they defended for their lives to protect the scoreline.

It ended one-all on the night in Paris with Nantes being the happiest of the two sides.

The result leaves Moses Simon’s side in the playoffs zone with 11 points from 13 matches this season.
