Fulham and Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi has dismissed rumors that his music career is a backup plan for life after football.
The 28-year-old attacking midfielder, who has released tracks like “Don’t Shoot” and “What’s Luv?”, clarified his stance on his dual career in an exclusive interview with Making of Champions.
“I’m just living life, making music, and not overthinking my future,” Iwobi said.
When asked about balancing music and football, Iwobi emphasized:
“Creating music doesn’t take anything away from my football. It helps me switch off. I will always work hard and try to improve in my sport, but this is a good use of my spare time.”
Iwobi reassured fans that his focus remains firmly on football:
“I enjoy making music, but it’s not a diversion from my football career… My focus is still on football.”
With his music serving as a creative outlet, Iwobi can unwind and recharge, all while maintaining his commitment to the beautiful game.
