Marcus Rashford has told Barcelona and the English national team faithful that he’s yet to reach the height of his potential, despite a fine start to the season.

Rashford has enjoyed a decent start on loan at Barcelona this season, but insists he is yet to get into full gear.

The Manchester United academy product says joining Barcelona has given him a fresh dose of energy, and the system suits his style of play well.

The 27-year-old England international added that Thomas Tuchel, head coach of the men’s senior national football will see the best of him at Barcelona.

Joining Barça has given me new energy, a new style, and a new country to explore”.

“I feel the team fits me perfectly and I can help them a lot. It’s a great step and I’m optimistic about the future”.

“Moving to Barcelona refreshed me”. “I’m in a good place, but I know I haven’t reached my full potential. After a tough season, I needed that reset to find my best version again”.

I believe England will see the best version of me after joining Barça”, told ITV Football.

“It’s still early, but when I reach my full potential, I’ll be the best version of myself”.

Marcus Rashford also revealed that he is happy to be the current top scorer and assister at the club, even though he’s yet to get to his limit.

I’m happy to be Barça’s top scorer and assister right now, but I know I can still do better”.

“I haven’t reached my limit yet, though I’m getting close to it”.

Rashford has three goals and five assists in all competitions for Barcelona this season.

The forward also seems to have put his difficult spell at Manchester United last season behind him as he reveals his unfeigned love from football helped him through the period.

I love football. In hard times, I remind myself of that little boy who first played football just because he wanted to”.

“That’s why we endure tough training, discipline, and pressure — it’s the reason we love this game”.
