Premier League clubs may have an opportunity to acquire Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen at a reduced price from Napoli this summer.
After failing to secure a transfer during the summer window, Osimhen was loaned to Galatasaray for the season.
The 25-year-old has been a target for Premier League clubs for two years, and his impressive performances have only increased interest. This season, Osimhen has scored 28 goals and provided five assists in 32 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray.
Several top clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Juventus, are reportedly interested in signing Osimhen.
However, Napoli is prepared to offer Manchester United a discount on the striker’s €75 million valuation to prevent him from joining Juventus.
According to reports, Napoli is keen to avoid selling Osimhen to their rivals, Juventus. Manchester United, under new coach Ruben Amorim, are looking to rebuild their team after struggling to secure a European spot in recent years. Osimhen is reportedly part of Amorim’s plans to revitalize the team.
