Nasarawa United climbed to the summit of the Nigeria Premier Football League table after a solid 2-0 win over Katsina United in Lafia.

Anas Yusuf struck on the stroke of halftime before Abubakar Abdullahi added a second in the 73rd minute, sealing three points that move the Solid Miners to 13 points. Katsina, meanwhile, drop to fourth with nine points.

Enyimba were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Ikorodu City. An early own goal gave the People’s Elephant the lead, but Joseph Arumala equalised five minutes later and Ikorodu’s defence stood firm to deny Enyimba a fifth win of the season.

In Ibadan, Shooting Stars came from behind to beat Warri Wolves 2-1. The visitors led through Igbunu Evwierhurhoma, but Qamar Adegoke restored parity in the 84th minute before Adams Mustapha completed a dramatic turnaround just two minutes later.

Wikki Tourists and Rangers International shared the spoils in Bauchi after a 2-2 draw. Klinshak Longbak’s opener was cancelled out by Godwin Obaje, and though Jonathan Mairiga gave Rangers the advantage, Obaje struck again late to earn Wikki a point.

Elsewhere, Barau FC recovered from conceding early to defeat Kun Khalifat 3-1. Ebuka Nwokorie’s opener for the hosts was quickly cancelled by Yahaya Ibrahim, before Hillary Ekawu and another strike from Ibrahim wrapped up the win.
