The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has unveiled a preliminary 24-man roster for D’Tigers ahead of the 2025 FIBA AfroBasket Qualifiers’ third window, scheduled from February 17 to 24, 2025, in Tripoli, Libya.
The list comprises a blend of 11 home-based talents and 13 international players, all selected under the guidance of Head Coach Abdulrahman Mohammed.

The NBBF has announced that D’Tigers will commence their preparation in two phases. Home-based players are to report to camp at Bentley Hotel, Abuja, on Monday, February 10, for the initial phase, which will run until February 16.
The coach will be assisted by former Nigerian international Deji Akindele and Isikaku Ikenna Smart, an assistant coach with the Portland Trail Blazers (NBA).
