Nigeria vs Rwanda: CAF picks Moroccan referee for final AFCON 2025 qualifier

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will play their last group match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying series against the Amavubi of Rwanda.

Six international football matches have been played between Rwanda and Nigeria.

Rwanda is still looking for their first win, while Nigeria has two victories and the other four were draws.

Both countries battled to a scoreless draw in their first meeting in September in Kigali.

The referee for the return leg in Uyo will also be another Moroccan.

Samir Guezzaz will take the stage in the center for the game, which starts at 5 p.m.
