Nigerian footballers delivered standout performances across Europe, headlined by a decisive contribution from Kelechi Iheanacho, who came off the bench to score the winning goal for Celtic FC in a hard-fought away league victory over Dundee FC.

In Austria, Moses Usor played a key role for LASK, registering a goal and an assist in a home win against Austria Wien.

Nigerian footballers influence was also felt strongly in Turkey, where Paul Onuachu and Tony Nwakaeme were among the standout performers as Trabzonspor secured a crucial derby victory over Galatasaray.

Onuachu and Chibuike Nwaiwu  found the back of the net, while Nwakaeme provided an assist in a match that further intensifies the title race. Notably, the Istanbul side were without star striker Victor Osimhen.

Elsewhere, Samuel Kalu was in inspired form, scoring twice to lead Botev Plovdiv to a commanding home victory over Spartak Varna.

Consistency continues to define Francis Ezeh’s performances, as he recorded his third consecutive assist for Ankara Keçiörengücü in their comfortable win against Kenneth Mamah’s Van Spor FK.
