The evening commenced with NXT Champion Oba Femi addressing the audience, expressing his determination to confront the quartet responsible for ambushing him post his successful title defense at Vengeance Day.
However, the arena was electrified when the lights dimmed, and upon restoration, TNA X-Division Champion Moose stood at the entrance, marking his unexpected debut on NXT.
Moose, leader of The System, entered the ring to confront Femi, declaring himself as the one man Femi couldn’t dominate. He issued a challenge, stating that a match between them “has to happen.” Femi, embodying the spirit of a true champion, accepted the challenge, setting the stage for a highly anticipated clash between the two titans.
The excitement didn’t end there. Later in the broadcast, Moose encountered NXT Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King backstage. King, who had previously defeated JDC—a known associate of Moose—was offered an opportunity by Moose.
Demonstrating his readiness to face any adversary, Moose agreed to defend his TNA X-Division Championship against King in the upcoming NXT episode.
