Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has shared his thoughts on the imminent transfer of his teammate Morgan Gibbs-White to Tottenham Hotspur.
Aina says Morgan is a professional as he continues to train with the club in the pre-season.
He added that he doesn’t know the details of the deal but Morgan Gibbs-White has been very professional about the move.
Ola Aina spoke to Sky Sports News after Nottingham Forest goalless draw against Monaco in a pre-season friendly match.
“Listen, Morgan’s a professional… I don’t really know the ins and outs of that, but he was here today… training with us… as normal.”.
“We’re all professionals, we’ve got a job to do. That’s what Morgan’s doing right now, so keeping it professional”.
Morgan Gibbs-White is nearing a £65 million move from Nottingham Forest to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The deal is set to wrapped up as soon as possible as the player has already agreed terms with the reigning Europa League champions.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has committed his future to Nottingham Forest for the next three years.
The 28-year-old defender signed a contract extension earlier in the month keeping him at the club until 2028.
Ola Aina has a brilliant outing for the Tricky Trees last campaign helping Nuno Espirito Santo’s men secure a place in the Europa Conference League after staying within the Champions League spots for most part of the season.
