Nottingham Forest’s Champions chase suffers further setback at Selhurst Park

Nottingham Forest’s dream of playing Champions League football at the City Ground and other European grounds next season looks seemingly unlikely.

The Tricky Trees dropped two points against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night as the game ended in a score draw.

Crystal Palace came into the match on the nack of a comprehensive victory over Aston Villa in the FA semi-final, while Nottingham Forest was looking to end their three-game winless strike.

The first half ended goalless as both sides struggled to create meaningful chances in front of goal.

However, the second half saw both teams increase the momentum, and the home side took the lead on the hour mark.
