The Nigeria Premier Football League served up another exciting round of fixtures on Matchday 3, with Remo Stars, Rangers International, and Kwara United standing out as the big winners.
In Ikenne, Remo Stars edged Warri Wolves 1-0 thanks to a late strike from Samson Olasupo, keeping their strong start to the season intact.
Rangers International also impressed in Enugu, beating Plateau United 2-0 with goals from Chidozie Iwundu and Chidiebere Nwobodo to extend their unbeaten run.
In Ilorin, Kwara United put on a confident display, defeating Kun Khalifat 2-0 through strikes from Johnmark Shirsha and Emeka Obiorah.

Elsewhere, newly promoted Ikorodu City earned their first ever away point in the NPFL after holding Shooting Stars to a 1-1 draw in Ibadan, with Shola Adelani cancelling out Sodiq Ibrahim’s early opener.
Barau FC and Bendel Insurance also shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw, while Niger Tornadoes, Katsina United, and Wikki Tourists all picked up narrow home wins.

Enyimba were frustrated in Aba, settling for a goalless draw against Nasarawa United, while Rivers United also failed to break down El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri.
