Maduka Okoye recorded his ninth clean sheet of the season as Udinese defeated Torino 2-0 in Saturday’s Serie A clash.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper was in action for the full 90 minutes in what was his 27th league appearance of the campaign.
Udinese believed they had gone ahead in the 22nd minute through Zanioli, but the effort was ruled out after a VAR review.
The hosts eventually broke the deadlock in first-half stoppage time when Kingsley Ehizibue found the net with a well-taken finish.
Thomas Kristensen doubled Udinese’s advantage in the 51st minute, firing a low shot past Torino goalkeeper Alberto to seal the victory.
The result moves Udinese up to 10th place on 47 points, while Torino remain 13th with 41 points.
