Super Eagles versatile defender Ola Aina has ended his lengthy Premier League goal drought in Nottingham Forest’s home win over Westham.
The defender scored a sublime strike from 25 yards as Nottingham Forest thrashed Westham 3 nil at the City Ground.
Aina last scored in the Premier League in the Tricky Trees 2 nil home win against Aston Villa on November 04, 2023.
However, the defender ended his long scoreless run before it clocked a year with a ferocious left-footed strike from the edge of Westham’s box.
The defender was on for 89 minute as Nottingham Forest outclassed the visitors in fine fashion.
Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi came on as a substitute in the 79th for Chris Wood who scored the first goal of the match.
Nottingham Forest are currently 3rd on the log with 19 points after 10 matches.
