Paul Onuachu didn’t score for the first time in 11 matches bringing an end to his prolific 10-game goals run.
Onuachu enjoyed a brilliant run scoring in 10 consecutive matches from January to March across all the competitions.
He equalled the club’s record for the longest consecutive goal-scoring run in Süper Lig history by scoring in 10 straight league matches—the first time any player has done so for the club since 1992 (a 34-year record).
Onuachu was looking to become the first player to score in 11 consecutive matches in the history of the club on Wednesday night.
However, the 31-year-old didn’t find the back of the net as Felipe Augusto’s 66th-minute goal secured the winner away at Eyupsor.
Onuachu was in action for over 80 minutes of the game as Trabzonspor equal Fenerbache on points – 60 as they keep the hopes of qualifying for the Champions League qualification series next season.
Meanwhile, Paul Onuachu is still leading the scorer’s log with 21 goals and two assists while his countryman, Victor Osimhen has 12 and four assists.
