Italian Serie A champions, Napoli, have reached a verbal agreement with Turkish Champions, Galatasaray, for the permanent transfer of Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen, in the days ahead, will complete a permanent move to Galatasaray in a deal worth €75 million, following weeks of negotiations between the two clubs.
Osimhen rejected advances from Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal, and a couple of European clubs to reunite with Galatasaray after a successful loan last season.
According to top football transfers expert Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray will pay Napoli €40 million this summer and an additional €35 million at the end of 2026.
Galatasaray will not be able to sell Osimhen to any Italian club for the next two years. Also, Napoli is entitled to a 10% sell-on clause in the future and goal-based bonus.
The Super Eagles striker will travel to Istanbul to do his medical and sign his contract this week.
Osimhen returns to the Turkish Champions after leading them to a domestic double: the Turkish Super League and Turkish Cup with 37 goals in 41 matches.
