Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer is full of praise for the club’s new signee Estêvão ahead of his iminent arrival at the club.
Palmer described the the winger as a top player. He added that he can’t wait to have the Brazilian resume at Chelsea.
However, in a post-match comment, Palmer revealed that Estêvão didn’t understand a single word after his compliment.

“Estêvão is a top player, we all can see that!”.
“I told him that we are excited for him to join, but he didn’t understand a single word I said…”.

Cole Palmer and Estêvão were in action for their respective sides as Chelsea took on Palmeiras in one of the quarter-final fixtures of the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup.
Cole Palmer gave Chelsea the lead while Estêvão scored the equalizer for the Brazilian side in a keenly contested affair.
Unfortunately, Weverton’s unfortunate own goal in the 83rd minute sealed the win for Chelsea as they progressed to the last four of the competition.
For his brilliant efforts on the night, the 18-year-old received the Man of the Match award as Palmeiras now out of the tournament.
