Super Eagles midfielder Papa Daniel has joined Slovenian side from Niger Tornadoes.
The 23-year-old joins the NK Celje on a three-year contract which will him remain at the club until June 2028.
NK Celje announced the arrival of Papa Daniel on via a post on their official X page on Wednesday.
Papa Daniel is a product of Fackson Nextpro Football Academy and gained European experience at Adanaspor before returning Nigeria Tornadoes.
The central midfielder featured 21 times for the Nigeria Premier Football League side in the 2024/2025 season.
Daniel also gained international experience as he featured for the Super Eagles against Ghana during the Unity Cup in June.
Papa Daniel will compete in the Europa League qualification stage with NK Celje as they look to qualify for the group phase of the competition.
