Sunday’s Premier League action was full of drama, excitement, and most importantly, goals.
After Newcastle stunned Chelsea 2-0 to start the day, Manchester United, fresh from their Europa League victory during the week, continued their horrendous league form with a 2-0 defeat to West Ham. This was their 18th defeat of the season, a new low in a season of lows for the Red Devils.

Ruben Amorim has presided over a disastrous run of results since taking over, but they will take respite in the fact that they have a Europa League final to look forward to.
Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest’s dreams of playing in the UEFA Champions League next season took a blow as they drew 2-2 against already relegated Leicester City.

The visitors took a shock lead through defender Coady Gakpo, but Forest responded through captain Morgan Gibbs-White and top scorer Chris Wood. However, a late goal by the impressive Facundo Buonanotte gave the Foxes a share of the spoils.
Finally, Tottenham lost 2-0 to Crystal Palace as their domestic season continues to underwhelm. They will hope to end the campaign on a high by winning the Europa League final against Manchester United.
