The Premier League has officially announced the shortlists for the February 2026 Manager, Player, and Goal of the Month awards, highlighting the top performers from a month of high-stakes football.
Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Manchester United’s Michael Carrick lead the managerial pack, while Arsenal’s Viktor Gyökeres and United’s Benjamin Šeško are among the headline names for the player and goal honors.
Carrick and Guardiola Head Managerial Shortlist
Four tacticians have been nominated for the Barclays Manager of the Month award following impressive unbeaten runs in February.
Manchester United’s Michael Carrick is in contention for a second consecutive award after guiding his side to three wins and a draw. He faces stiff competition from Pep Guardiola, whose Manchester City side earned the most points in February (13) with four wins and a draw, including a crucial victory over Liverpool at Anfield.
Other Managers include; Arne Slot of Liverpool and Brentford’s Keith Andrew.
Gyökeres and Šeško Lead Player of the Month Race
The EA SPORTS Player of the Month shortlist features six stars who dominated February’s headlines.
Arsenal’s Viktor Gyökeres earned his nod after netting four goals, including a brace in the North London derby. Manchester United’s Benjamin Šeško also made the list for his “clutch” performances, scoring three league goals despite not starting a single match in February.
Nico O’Reilly also impressed Manchester City’s 5 Matches unbeaten, scoring 3 important goals. Fellow teammate Antoine Semenyo was also noted for the award.
Vigil Van Dijk and Dango Ouattara also received nominations.
Spectacular Strikes Vie for Goal of the Month
The Guinness Goal of the Month contenders feature eight of the finest finishes from the February calendar. The list is highlighted by Martin Zubimendi’s “thunderbolt” for Arsenal against Sunderland and a stunning free-kick from Anton Stach for Leeds United.
