The draw for the 21st edition of the FIFA Club World Cup has been concluded and all the 32 participants now know their opponents.
The draw for the expanded edition of the competition took place in Miami on Thursday afternoon at about 1 p.m local time.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will see 32 teams from the six confederations who have won their continental competition between 2021-2024 and club ranking over the period of four years compete for the title.
Manchester City are the defending champions of the competition having won the UEFA Champions League for tye first time.
The 32 teams will compete in eight groups of four teams each between June 15 to July 13, 2025 across twelve stadia in 11 host cities.
The likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were handed relatively easy opponents en route to the second round of the competition.
Unlike other competitions, the draw for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup appears to be fair and balanced as there is no group that can be termed as “tough” or “Group of Death.”
