Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen will meet with Galatasaray fans on Tuesday, marking his anticipated arrival in Istanbul.
Football commentator Hakan Gündoğar confirmed the date, stating, “Osimhen will be in Istanbul on Tuesday. Clear information. He will meet with Galatasaray fans on Tuesday” (via Habersarikirmizi).
He added, “Galatasaray fans are expected to make one of the most historic welcomes for Victor Osimhen.”
The Turkish giants and Napoli have finalized bank guarantees and payment plans for Osimhen’s permanent transfer to the Turkish Super Lig champions this summer.
Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, rejected lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal to join the Turkish giants. The 26-year-old will become the club’s most expensive signing in history, and could potentially see Galatasaray dominate Turkish football for years to come.
