Ruud van Nisterooy is set to become the new coach of Leicester City according to multiple sources.
European football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano reports that documents are already being prepared for Van Nisterooy to join the Foxes.

Ruud van Nisterooy stepped in as interim coach of Manchester United following the departure of Erik Ten Hag in October.
The Dutch striker managed four games for the Red Devils and recorded 3 wins and draw.
The 48-year-old manager started his coaching career from the PSV under-17 team before he was appointed as manager of the first team in 2022.
He won the Johan Cruyff Shield as well as the KNVB Cup. However, he resigned with a match left in the 2022/2023 season citing lack of support.
The former Real Madrid striker joined Manchester United as assistant coach yo Erik Ten Hag in 2024 before taking charge of the team on interim following the sack of his boss.
Ruud van Nisterooy also had stints with the Dutch national team twice in 2014 and 2020 as an assistant to Guus Hiddink and Ronald Koeman respectively.
The 48-year-old Dutchman will replace Steve Cooper as coach of the former Premier League champions.
