Manchester City secured a much-needed 2-0 win over Leicester City, thanks to goals from Savinho and Erling Haaland.
City dominated the early stages, with Haaland and Savinho both coming close.
Savinho finally broke the deadlock in the 37th minute, scoring his first goal for the club.
Leicester pushed hard for an equalizer, with Facundo Buonanotte hitting the post and Jamie Vardy missing a golden opportunity.
However, Haaland sealed the win for the visitors in the 74th minute, heading in Savinho’s cross.
The victory marked City’s first away win in six Premier League matches and lifted them to seventh in the table. Leicester, meanwhile, slumped to their fourth consecutive defeat under Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The win will provide a much-needed boost for City, who are looking to revive their title hopes. Pep Guardiola’s side will now look to build on this momentum as they aim to climb the table.
