Nigerian music sensation Adekunle Gold, a self-proclaimed die-hard Manchester United fan, has expressed his frustration with the team’s poor form early in the 2024-25 season.
The “Party no dey stop” crooner, who has often shown his support by attending games at Old Trafford and even modeling for the club, couldn’t help but lament his decision to back the Red Devils.
In a video posted on the social media platform X, Adekunle Gold offered his thoughts to newly appointed manager Ruben Amorim, suggesting a drastic overhaul of the team.
“Sell all the players except Noussair Mazraoui and Amad Diallo when the transfer window opens,” he jokingly advised.
Adekunle Gold’s comments come as Manchester United continues to struggle under Amorim’s management. The Portuguese coach took the reins after Erik ten Hag’s departure, leaving behind a successful stint at Sporting CP.
However, his tenure at Manchester United has been marred by inconsistency, with the team winning only four of their 11 matches, losing six and drawing one.
The Red Devils are also on a four-match losing streak, leaving fans like Adekunle Gold, and millions around the world searching for answers.
