Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru scored as Lazio climbed to fourth place in Serie A with a dominant 5-1 win over AC Monza.
The hosts completely dominated the first half, recording 15 shots without conceding any.
Lazio eventually scored just after the half-hour mark, as Adam Marušić headed home to give his team a halftime lead.
The Biancocelesti continued to press in the second half, with Pedro scoring twice and Taty Castellanos adding another.
Monza’s first shot of the match came in the 54th minute, but Tomás Palacios headed wide. Lazio quickly added to their lead, with Pedro scoring his second and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru sealing the win.
Stefano Sensi scored a consolation penalty for Monza, but it was too little, too late.
The visitors slumped to their fourth successive defeat, remaining rooted to the bottom of the table.
