Ismail Ayodele scored the only goal of the match in the 35th minute to register his fourth goal of the campaign.
The forward met Ayodele Ayobami’s square ball into the box with a header to put the hosts ahead.
Remo Stars dominated the most parts of the second half but the home side stood tall in defense to thwart the threat.
Shooting Stars secured a win and a clean sheet to go move up to fifth on the Nigeria Premier Football League table with 23 points after 15 matches.
The defeat leaves Remo Stars 13th on the log with 19 points after the same number of matches played.
Meanwhile, David Sholumade’s 90th minute goal made the difference as Rivers United secured a late win over Kano Pillars in Port Harcourt.
Rivers United are now third on the log with 26 points after 13 matches.
