The Super Eagles of Nigeria are camped in the Rive Hotel – a four-star facility in Rabat, Morocco, ahead of the high-stakes World Cup playoffs against Gbaon’s Panthers later this week.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) picked the hotel given its proximity to the training facility and the Stade Prince Moulay Hassan – venue of the fixture on Thursday.
Alex Iwobi’s video showing a low-cost neighborhood from his hotel room gave a wrong perception of the facility, which caused a bit of a stir among fans online.
However, a video shared by the media officer of the Super Eagles showcased the splendor of the hotel’s interiors and other captivating facilities.
The Super Eagles will remain in the Rive Hotel at least until Thursday when they take on the Pathers of Gabon in the first semi-finals of the playoffs.
