It was a clash of two Nigerians as RC Lens faced off against Nantes in a French Ligue 1 fixture.
Lens the home side featured Nigerian youngster Hamzat Ojediran while Nantes were led in attack by Super Eagles regular Moses Simon.

Lens went in front when Przemyslaw Frankowski converted a penalty in the 31st minute.
However, Nantes responded with the equalizer also from the penalty spot converted by Simon as they went to the halftime break level.
In the 69th minute of the second half, Ojediran was brought in for Neil El Aynaoui.
Nantes would go in front in the 81st minute when Simon found Nicolas Cozza for their second of the game.
In the 86th minute, Ojediran brought Lens back level with a well-taken goal.
The winner would come from Adrien Thomasson in the 90th minute as Lens held for all three points.
