Reigning Saudi Pro League champions Al Hilal are reportedly preparing a €275 million package to sign Barcelona’s star forward Raphinha this summer, according to reports.
The Brazilian winger has shattered records this season, amassing 30 goals and 23 assists in 49 club games.
His blend of quality and quantity shone through with a 98th-minute winner against Celta Vigo, edging Barcelona closer to the La Liga title.
While Premier League clubs have shown interest, Al Hilal have emerged as frontrunners, aiming to fill the void left by Neymar’s mid-season exit after failing to secure Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, per SPORT.
To lure Barcelona’s vice-captain, who has surpassed scoring records set by Lionel Messi, Al Hilal are ready to offer €100 million (£85.7 million).
The deal includes a staggering five-year contract worth €44 million (£37 million) per season, dwarfing Raphinha’s current Barcelona salary and positioning him among the world’s highest-paid players.
