Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu, in a moment of humility, said his countryman, Victor Osimhen, is better than him when asked after the clash between Galatasaray and Trabzonspor over the weekend.
Despite his prolific form this season as the top scorer of the Turkish Super League with seven goals, the towering striker picked the Galatasaray talisman as the better striker.
Onuachu, while working across the mixed zone after the match, echoed “Osimhen” in response to the question of the question.
Paul Onuachu and Victor Osimhen exchanged pleasantries after the goalless draw at Rams Park, while Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana, Onuachu’s teammate, shared a laugh and a hug with Osimhen in a moment that portrayed unity among the African players.

Osimhen’s Galatasaray still lead the Turkish Super League with five points despite dropping two points against Trabzonspor.
Onuachu and Osimhen have 10 goals combined in the Turkish Super League this season, and both strikers will look to help the Super Eagles with goals later this month against Gabon in the FIFA World Cup CAF playoffs.
Nigeria will take on Gabon in Rabat, Morocco, on November 13 for a place in the final against either Cameroon or DR Congo.
