Super Eagles of Nigeria defender Bruno Onyemaechi has been recognized as Boavista’s Player of the Month for December, thanks to his outstanding contributions to the team.
Onyemaechi, who plays as a left-back, expressed his gratitude to the fans for their support, stating,
“It’s not just about this award. It’s about the commitment.
“It is also about the team’s effort, and the good work we do in the games, even when we don’t get a good result.”
The 25-year-old also emphasized the importance of the team’s upcoming game against Arouca, saying,
“Of course, I’m happy to win this award, but the most important thing is the game against Arouca, which we really want to win.”
With Boavista currently sitting in 17th place in the Portuguese League table, the season’s goal will be to avoid relegation.
Onyemaechi’s consistency will be crucial in their battle for survival.
