Super Falcons of Nigeria star Francisca Ordega has signed a two-year contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old winger joins Al-Ittihad after parting ways with Russian club CSKA Moscow, where her contract had expired.
Ordega brings a wealth of experience to her new team, having previously played for clubs like Levante, Athletico Madrid, Washington Spirit, and Shanghai Shengli.
During her time with CSKA Moscow, she scored 29 goals and registered 20 assists in 84 appearances, helping the team win the Russian Cup and Super Cup.
At Al-Ittihad, Ordega will be reunited with her Nigerian teammate Ashleigh Plumptre, as they aim for a strong finish to what has been an underwhelming season so far.
The oil-rich club currently sit seventh in the 10-team league table with 15 points.
