The Super Falcons of Nigeria are set to camp in Portugal ahead of the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations next month.
A source close to the team reports that the nine-time African champions will camp in Portugal ahead of the tournament.
The Super Falcons are on course to make history as they look to win a record 10th title when hostilities begins in Morocco from July 5.
In preparation for the the competition, Nigeria will play Portugal in a friendly match on June 23rd.
The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 3-3 in the United States in 2021. Rasheedat Ajibade and Michelle Alozie scored a goal each as the Super Falcons forced the Portuguese ladies to a thrilling draw.
Tunisia, Algeria and Botswana are in Group B alongside Nigeria.
Nigeria will take on Tunisia in their opening fixture on July 6 at the Stade Larbi Zouli in Casablanca.
