The international friendly match between the Super Falcons of Nigeria and the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon has been rescheduled.
The fixture was meant to hold on Monday, June 2nd, but will now be held on Tuesday, June 3rd, at the newly renovated MKO Abiola Stadium.
Rescheduling was due to the late arrival of the Cameroonian contingent who arrived on Sunday afternoon.
Also, instead of playing twice, the Super Falcons will take on the Lionesses once as they intensify preparations for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations next month.
The Super Falcons are also expected to play Portugal in another friendly match according to reports before traveling to Morocco for the tournament.
Nigeria are grouped alongside Tunisia, Algeria, and Botswana in Group B as they look to win their record 10th title.
