Super Falcons star Chiamaka Okwuchukwu scored her first professional goal as San Diego Wave fell to a 2-1 defeat against Orlando Pride in the NWSL.
After a slow first half, where neither side really threatened enough to break the deadlock, things really got going in the second half.

Orlando drew first blood in the 50th minute, thanks to a clever team move that ended with Haley McCutcheon tapping the ball into the net.
Chiamaka Okwuchukwu, 19, made a memorable debut, scoring the equalizer just minutes after coming onto the field. It was a big moment for the young forward, who has been tipped for great things.
The game was heating up, and Orlando was determined to take the win. They got their chance in the 76th minute, when Marta stepped up to take a penalty kick. After a VAR review, she got a second chance – and made it count, securing the win for the Pride.
After the one-week FIFA break, the Wave will host the Kansas City Current on Saturday, April 12.
