Aston Martin unveiled their 2025 Formula 1 livery at London’s O2 Arena, featuring a captivating live performance by Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems.
The event was part of the F1 75 Live celebration, marking the 75th anniversary of Formula 1, where all ten teams revealed their liveries for the upcoming season.
Tems delivered a soulful rendition of her song “Higher” from her debut EP “For Broken Ears,” accompanied by a live orchestra. As her powerful vocals filled the arena, the new Aston Martin AMR25 car was gradually unveiled on stage, creating a mesmerizing synergy between the performance and the reveal.
The event also featured a James Bond-themed entrance while drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll participated in a cinematic skit before introducing the AMR25, adding to the evening’s allure.
Tems’ performance at this high-profile event underscores her rising global prominence. Recently, she expanded her influence beyond music by joining the ownership group of Major League Soccer’s San Diego FC through her company, The Leading Vibe.
Additionally, she made history as the first African female artist to surpass one billion streams on Spotify with “Wait For U,” her collaboration with Future and Drake, which samples “Higher,” the very song she performed at the unveiling.
The F1 75 Live event was a historic occasion, bringing together all ten Formula 1 teams to unveil their 2025 liveries simultaneously, celebrating the sport’s milestone anniversary.
Aston Martin’s presentation, enhanced by Tems’ soulful performance, stood out as a memorable highlight, seamlessly blending high-performance engineering with artistic expression.
