TENNIS : DJOKOVIC WINS HIS 37TH ATP MASTERS TITLE IN PARIS

World number one Novak Djokovic defeated Daniil Medvedev to win a record breaking 37 ATP Masters title. The Serb came from a set down to defeat Medvedev in Paris in an intriguing match that ended 4-6 6-3 6-3.

Medvedev took the first set with a fine all round display breaking Djokovic twice. The Russian was very mobile following every shot from Novak and ended the first set with a serve that the Serb could not return.

Novak rallied back in the second set to and broke the Russians serve twice while he also lost one of his own. The second set ended with Djokovic serving an ace to claim the set 6-3.

In the decider Novak was more in control and came to the net more often and had more winners shot. The final set ended 6-3 with a fine forehand passing shot from the world number one to claim his sixth title in Paris and his 37th ATP Masters trophy.
