Chelsea legends John Terry, Frank Lampard, Petr Čech, and others came together for a charity exhibition match.
The former players, including Gianfranco Zola, Carlo Cudicini, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Jody Morris, Gary Cahill and Ashley Cole, were pictured wearing the Chelsea kit for a friendly match held at Chelsea’s training ground in Cobham in support of the John Terry Foundation.
In an Instagram post, John Terry said:
“Yesterday was a special day. I auctioned a chance to play against Chelsea Legends at my charity golf day. Two of my friends very kindly paid and donated a lot of money to bring their mates to take us on at the training ground, not only did we raise £100,000 for my foundation, we had an amazing day and we have some great footage of the boys rolling back the years”.
Fans were especially delighted to see their heroes come together once again to relive memories of a trophy laden spell at Chelsea.
